Presbyterian Day Camp
Each summer Immanuel, in partnership with the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley, hosts a week-long day camp for Montgomery Area Presbyterians and friends. It is staffed by the summer camp counselors and local volunteers. Children and youth sing, play, have Bible Study, do crafts and mission projects while they build relationships with one another.

Immanuel offers Vacation Bible School one week during the summer. It ordinarily is held Wednesday through Sunday on Wednesday thru Friday Evenings, Saturday Morning and Sunday Morning. Children, youth and adults enjoy learning about God’s love and care for us, focused on a themed curriculum.
Summer Camps & Retreats
The children and youth of Immanuel actively participate in the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley’s Summer camping program. While the Presbytery is preparing to build a new camp to accommodate all age groups at the Living River site on the Cahaba River, our camps and retreats are being held at rented camp facilities in the state. Camps are offered for children and youth from grades 2 through 12 and are staffed by excellent counselors and camp directors.
Weekend Presbytery retreats are held for Elementary Aged Children, Jr. High and High School Youth. They are are ordinarily held in the fall, winter and spring.
